CPA Statements provides a software-as-a-service tool that allows CPAs, bookkeepers, and accounting professionals to upload PDF bank statements and receive converted output in Excel (.xlsx) or CSV format. The Service is powered in part by AI-based document processing technology.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. The Service is intended for professional and commercial use by accounting, bookkeeping, and financial services professionals.

You retain ownership of all files and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your files solely to provide the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload the files you submit, your use complies with applicable laws (including privacy and data protection laws), and you have obtained any required consents from third parties whose data may appear in uploaded files.
Access to the Service is provided on a subscription or pay-per-use basis as described on our pricing page. All payments are processed through Stripe.
Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact legal@cpastatements.com within 7 days of the charge.
The Service, including all software, algorithms, interfaces, content, and trademarks, is owned by CPA Statements and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.
We treat all uploaded files as confidential. We do not access or use the content of your uploaded files for any purpose other than performing the conversion. Uploaded files are deleted from our systems within 24 hours of processing.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CPA STATEMENTS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CPA STATEMENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CPA STATEMENTS'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CPA Statements and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association Commercial Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting updated Terms on our website and updating the Effective Date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
